The Flathead County Sheriff’s Posse is a steppingstone for future law enforcement full time professionals. Former Auxiliary Officers and Reserve Deputies have graduated at the top of Law Enforcement Officer Basic course (accredited POST) thanks in part to their volunteer training. Other former members serve as full time professionals in other branches of law enforcement such as County Detention. We are proud of our success in helping professionals in law enforcement, who happen to be volunteers, become full time law enforcement professionals.
