What does it take to supply the gear for a Posse Member?
The Flathead County Sheriff’s Posse is a registered non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. While we work closely with our local Sheriff’s Department, we are responsible for sourcing and outfitting each of our volunteers.
In the past years decades the valley has grown substantially in size and the Sheriff’s Posse has been called upon more and more. With this, our need for volunteers has grown as well as our need to purchase additional equipment.
Now more than ever before, the Posse is relying on community donations to help offset our operating costs.
On each event that we handle or assist with, we will typically earn money that is used for the operations.
